The Ukrainian Premier League has announced the best player and coach of the domestic top division for February and March.
In the player category Dynamo Kyiv forward Matviy Ponomarenko won the award. He received an impressive 72.4% of the votes (40.1% from fans and 32.3% from experts) ahead of Oleksiy Hutsulyak of Polissya (27.6%) and Bruninho of Karpaty (24.5%).
Among coaches Dynamo Kyiv manager Ihor Kostyuk also dominated, earning a total of 85.4% (41.9% from fans and 43.5% from experts) well ahead of his closest rivals – Ruslan Rotan of Polissya (55.4%) and Vitaliy Ponomaryov of LNZ (30%).
