- First of all, I’d like to thank our warriors and glorious Heroes, who defend our country. It’s due to them that we can play the Ukrainian Premier League. We hope the victory we all dream of will come soon and they’ll return home safe and sound.
Secondly, speaking about the match, we were getting ready for a tough one against the team that would be defending and using counterattacks. I’m glad we didn’t concede. I’m happy for Heorhiy Bushchan, who’s finally returned to the field.
I’m also happy for Mykola Shaparenko. We wanted to give him a chance although he isn’t hundred per cent ready to play yet. We hope he’ll recondition by the upcoming national team matches.
I also want to mention that this game was special to me as today is my mother’s birthday. I would like to congratulate her.
