FC Dynamo Kyiv head coach Mircea Lucescu answered media questions after the game against FC Veres Rivne.
- The turf was rough. I guess we shouldn’t have played. The field was frozen, especially in the first half. It was hard to balance. After the break the turf got softer and we scored. My guys have played a good match.
- It seems the tougher circumstances are, the better Dynamo are doing. What’s that about?
- My players are ready for any kind of circumstances. They prove that in domestic league and international matches. They always aim to win.
As I’ve said, we played on the very rough field today, so I would like to congratulate my players. It’s great we’ve avoided injuries.
- What do you think of Verbic’s performance?
- He did a really good job. He played pretty well against Mynai too, but not so good in terms of attacking actions. Today he did very well.
It’s good that today he was focused on teamwork. There were games when he played more individually. Today Verbic caused the home side troubles throughout the match.
