On Thursday, March 19, the draw ceremony for the Ukrainian Cup semifinals took place at the Football House in Kyiv.
At this stage the competition features two clubs from the Ukrainian Premier League and two from the First League.
One of the semifinalists is Dynamo Kyiv who reached this stage by defeating Oleksandriya (2:1), Shakhtar Donetsk (2:1) and Inhulets Petrove (2:0) in the previous rounds.
According to the draw results Dynamo Kyiv will face Bukovyna Chernivtsi in the semifinals. Under the competition rules this match will be played away for “White-Blues.”
The base dates for the semifinal matches are set for April 21–23. The exact date and kickoff time for the match against Bukovyna will be announced later.
It is worth noting that Dynamo and Bukovyna also met in the semifinals of the previous Ukrainian Cup edition where Kyiv side secured a 4:1 victory.
The semifinal ties will be decided in a single match. If the score is level after regular time the winner will be determined by a penalty shootout.
