- What do you think of the game and how is Popov doing?
- Congrats to our fans on this win, it was important one. We were getting ready for a tough match and emphasized to our players they mustn’t lose in key aspects.
We applied pressure to let our opponent understand what we came for. Basically our game plan has worked out. The substitution of Popov was simply about giving some game practice to Maksym Diachuk.
- After the score became 4:0 you made a number of substitutions. Did you want to let players have rest?
- I wanted other players to feel the game rhythm and to know that we count on them. They did great in certain episodes.
- Vladyslav Vanat played the whole game. Did you want to let him score more and win the strikers’ competition?
- I’m satisfied with Vanat’s performance, but I guess I want him to be more effective at finishing. Same goes to Nazar Voloshyn. Anyway, we had decent chances and could score more.
