Dynamo Kyiv delivered a dominant performance on the road defeating Oleksandriya 5:0 in Matchday 21 of the Ukrainian Premier League.
Heading into the game Dynamo were in excellent form with a seven-match winning streak while hosts had gone 12 matches without a victory. Visitors quickly confirmed their status as favorites with an early breakthrough.
Dynamo opened the scoring in the 4th minute. After a corner the ball fell to Andriy Yarmolenko who calmly finished with his right foot to make it 0:1.
Visitors maintained control and doubled their lead in the 20th minute. Bohdan Redushko’s shot was saved but Oleksandr Yatsyk reacted quickest to convert the rebound from close range - 0:2.
Oleksandriya’s best chance came late in the half but Dynamo goalkeeper Ruslan Neshcheret remained alert to deny any danger.
After the break Dynamo continued to dictate play and increased the tempo with several substitutions.
In the 68th minute Nazar Voloshyn made it 0:3 after a precise through ball from Redushko, lifting the ball over the goalkeeper.
Just four minutes later Redushko crowned his performance with a goal of his own - his first for the senior team - finishing from close range after a well-worked team move to make it 0:4.
The final goal came in the 83rd minute. Captain Vitalii Buialskii delivered a perfect through pass to Matvii Ponomarenko who calmly slotted home to seal the 5:0 win. The striker continues his excellent form, reaching nine goals in ten matches this season.
