FC Dynamo Kyiv head coach Oleksandr Shovkovskyi has commented upon the away win against FC Veres Rivne (2:1).
- First of all congratulations to everyone on the start of the new season. I want to thank our warriors for the chance to play and give positive emotions to everyone who loves football.
We totally controlled the game in the first half, there was only one team on the field. We scored two and could score at least three more, but unfortunately didn’t. Basically the game was under our control in the second half as well until we conceded that unnecessary goal. Herewith we had more chances. Besides, Ruslan Neshcheret did a good job late in the game. That’s the way Dynamo keeper should play.
So, I congratulate our fans on the victory, but the victory is definitely with a little flavor, because we should’ve played this game more calmly.

- We surprised ourselves. Veres didn’t.

- Before the conceded goal we played the way we agreed upon. Of course one should take into account that we’ve had a seven-hour trip here. But we need to get used as things won’t be different for us. So, today we changed the lineup a bit and let four players have rest.
