FC Dynamo Kyiv faced FC Veres Rivne in the Ukrainian Premier League matchday 29 game. Although technically it was a home match for the White-Blues, it was played in Rivne as the first round game took place in Kyiv.
Veres looked pretty determined to succeed early in the match. Bliznichenko attempted after pass from Haiduchyk, but Bushchan coped with that.
Later Pasich shot past the goal while Sharai almost appeared one-on-one with Dynamo goalkeeper, but Bushchan was the first to reach the ball.
Kyivans created the first real chance right before the break. Buialskyi won a free kick, Andriyevskyi took it and hit the crossbar.
The second half started with a great opportunity for Dynamo. Dubinchak put a cross into the penalty area, Ramirez attempted with a header, but hit the bar too. Still Eric succeeded in the following attack. Karavayev received a pass from Andriyevskyi, found Ramirez, Eric eluded goalkeeper and defender and sent the ball into the net – 1:0.
Ramirez could increase Dynamo lead in a few minutes after uncoordinated actions of Vovchenko and Kohut as the ball hit Eric, but luckily for Veres their keeper caught it.
In the 66th minute, Harmash passed to Voloshyn, Nazar eluded the goalkeeper, but missed the target from a tight angle.
87 minutes into the game Veres got a great chance to equalize. Syrota fouled against Balan inside the box and referee awarded penalty. Shestakov took it, but Bushchan coped with his shot.
This failure was so upsetting to Veres that they conceded two more afterwards. At first Harmash made it 2:0 after low cross by Dubinchak from the left side, and then Voloshyn succeeded after pass from Karavayev.
So, it’s 3:0 fir Dynamo. On June 4, the White-Blues will play the final game of the season – against FC Metalist 1925 Kharkiv.
