On October 2, FC Dynamo Kyiv played the Ukrainian Premier League matchday 5 game against FC Mynai away.
Home side demonstrated they weren’t going to just defend straight away, so they attacked and put a number of crosses into the penalty area. Anyway, visitors unleashed the first shot on goal. Harmash attempted with a header, but goalkeeper was there.
Later Boiko had to save his team too as he parried the shot by Tverdokhlib from close range. Then Vorobchak sent the ball wide.
Gradually the White-Blues started creating chances. Zabarnyi tried with a header after corner, but Bandura performed spectacular save.
Right before the break Kyivans had another great opportunity. Tsyhankov took a free kick, goalkeeper reached the ball in the bottom corner and then didn’t let Tymchyk succeed with a follow-up.
As the second half started, Mircea Lucescu’s men continued attacking. Tymchyk aimed after cross by Dubinchak from the left side – Bandura cleared. Then Mynai keeper coped with decent shot by Buialskyi.
Eventually the White-Blues succeeded in the 51st minute. Dubinchak put a cross into the box, defenders didn’t manage to clear and Tsyhankov sent it into the net with a volley – 0:1.
In a few minutes home side had a chance to equalize, but Kuliyev’s shot was blocked. Basically the speed decreased and scoring chances weren’t too numerous afterwards. In a while Dynamo newcomers Kaheem Parris and Justin Lonwijk made their debut for the team. In the last minute Boiko did a great job by parrying a free kick from tight angle.
Anyway it’s 0:1 for Dynamo. Now Kyivans are about to face Rennais away.
