FC Dynamo Kyiv faced FC Rukh Lviv away in the UPL matchday 21 game.
Home side started quite aggressively and had a great chance early in the match. Lonwijk’s mistake let Talles appear practically one-on-one with Neshcheret, but then Dutch player didn’t let the shot happen and cleared the ball.
Rukh were really active and applied high pressure which was making Dynamo nervous. Still Mircea Lucescu’s men opened the score in the 16th minute. Benito crossed from the right side and Vanat sent the ball past the keeper from close range – 0:1.
Rukh made great efforts to equalize before the break and succeeded in the 40th minute. After a fast counterattack and a number of rebounds inside the box, Dovhyi sent the ball into the net – 1:1.
The White-Blues made some substitutions after the first half, but that didn’t turn out to be really effective while Rukh were dangerous sometimes. In one episode Klymchuk was one-on-one with Neshcheret, but didn’t manage to chip the ball over our keeper.
Dynamo tried to shoot from distance, but attempts of Andriyevskyi and Sydorchuk were inaccurate. So, it’s 1:1 and Dynamo stay in the 4th position in the league table.
