FC Dynamo Kyiv faced FC Veres Rivne in Lutsk within the Ukrainian Premier League matchday 17.
The game was under the threat of failure. Home side didn’t turn the turf heating system on while the temperature in Lutsk was below zero at night. Anyway referee Kateryna Monzul decided the match would be played.
Dynamo took the game under control right away. Harmash had two opportunities early in the first half.
He didn’t use them, but Verbic did. Benjamin hit the bottom corner from outside the penalty area – 0:1.
Home side tried to respond. Serhiychuk appeared in a good position inside the box, but Mykolenko didn’t let him shoot. In the opposite side Verbic didn’t score in one-on-one situation.
Early in the second half Veres defender fouled against Harmash inside the box and referee awarded penalty for Dynamo. Tsyhankov converted from the spot, but Monzul noticed infraction and made him take the shot again. This time Viktor missed.
Still Verbic doubled the score quite soon. He hit the near corner after pass from Shaparenko – 0:2.
In a few minutes the score became 0:3. Harmash dispossessed Miroshnyk in the left side, passed to Tsyhankov and Viktor hit the empty goal.
Home side finished the game outnumbered as Nemchaninov was sent off for a desperate foul against Karavayev.
So, it’s 3:0. Dynamo reach Shakhtar in the league table.
