FC Dynamo Kyiv halfback Vladyslav Kabayev has commented upon the away win against FC Metalist Kharkiv (3:1).
- You made a substitute appearance in the second half. What did Olexandr Shovkovskyi tell you before that?
- Not much. I’ve already spent a while with Dynamo, but couldn’t score or assist for quite a long period of time, so I really wanted to do it.
- You spotted Vanat perfectly, who wasn’t really marked…
- It was hard not to notice (smiling). We play for Dynamo, so we must be able to spot our teammates on the field.
- Diallo has made his UPL debut. He also plays in your position. What do you think of the competition?
- It’s all fine, we have good team. Proper competition benefits everyone. Now young Samba Diallo has joined us. Whoever is better prepared, will play, which is okay.
- What did Shovkovskyi tell you after the game? Did he praise you?
- They don’t praise anyone individually. The whole team deserved this win. Next week we’ll have a theory class to analyze the match. After the game, Olexandr Shovkovskyi just thanked and congratulated players.
- Dynamo have three away games in a row. Can logistics be an issue?
- I don’t think it’s a big deal. We live quite ordinary lives, considering that war is on in our country. Young guys and men defend us from the aggressor. So, there’s no way we should complain about that kind of things.
