Dynamo academy graduate Vladyslav Vanat spoke with the club’s media after signing a contract with Spanish side Girona.
– Vlad, after 10 years you are leaving Dynamo… What emotions are you feeling now?
– Dynamo Kyiv is my home, the club that gave me the chance to do what I love and to fulfill my dream. My whole family has always supported the Kyiv side, and I was a fan of this club too. It was an honor for me to play here and it’s impossible to put into words the gratitude and love I feel for this team… I will never forget the emotions from my debut match or the joy after scoring my first goal. This club gave me opportunities and here I made the key steps in my career.
– You spoke with Dynamo’s president after your transfer to Girona. What did Ihor Mykhailovych say to you about it?
– He supported me and wished me all the best. I am very grateful to the president for everything he has done for me and for the club as a whole. I appreciate that I can always turn to him with a question or for advice – and I will always receive a valuable answer. Now I have the chance to play in one of the best club championships in the world and I will do everything I can to make my country and the club I came from proud…
