Vladyslav Vanat, who scored a brace in FC Dynamo Kyiv first game of the season, has shared his impressions of the match against FC Mynai.
- Congratulations! What do you think of the game?
- It was a good one. Although we conceded early in the match, we came back and succeeded.
- You’ve scored two with your right today... Has it ever happened to you before?
- I actually don’t remember. Maybe it has. We practice shooting with both left and right.
- Have teammates already congratulated you on the first brace on top level?
- Probably no one really knows it’s my first one, so not really.
- What did Lucescu say?
- He said I used my chances properly and I should keep this up.
- Did the early opener ruin your game plan?
- Of course it did. We were going to score the early opener, but conceded instead. Still that’s okay as we came back.
- After Popov was sent off you moved to the left wing. Was that comfortable for you?
- That’s what had to be done in that situation.
- Has the presence of Andriy Yarmolenko changed the team spirit?
- Sure, Andriy is the leader of the team. When he runs, you run too.
- How was the training camp for you?
- We came later than most of our teammates, but did a lot of running too. I hope that will benefit us.
- Are you totally ready for the season or still need a few games to get accustomed?
- The team is ready. As for me personally, I feel it’s difficult for me to play for 90 minutes so far. But I’ll do my best to be completely ready soon.
