In four previous sparring at the training camp in Spain FC Dynamo Kyiv opposed European and African teams. In the fifth friendly the White-Blues faced one of the best South Korean clubs Suwon Samsung Bluewings.

As usually Serhiy Rebrov used two different squads in this game. Those, who took the field in the starting lineup, played for about 60 minutes this time.

Korean side had the first scoring opportunity 11 minutes into the match. Olexandr Shovkovskyi saved Dynamo in one-on-one situation. Kyivans didn’t have a lot of chances unlike previous sparrings.

After the break situation didn’t change a lot. The White-Blues controlled the ball, but Bluewings demonstrated good physical conditions and dedication.

About one hour into the game new group of Dynamo players took the field. Several minutes later Serhiy Miakushko rushed into the penalty area, eluded several defenders and hit the target! It was the first goal for young halfback at the training camp.

A couple of minutes before the time Lukasz Teodorczyk could double the score, but Korean defender didn’t let the ball cross the goal line after his shot.

The final score of the game is 1:0 for Dynamo, who’ll play the next sparring on January 28 against Algeciras CF.

FC Dynamo Kyiv fifth opponent at the training camp in Spain will be one of the best teams of South Korea Suwon Samsung Bluewings. The game will take place on January 27 at 17:00 (Kyiv time) at MarbellaFootballCenter.

This year Suwon Samsung Bluewings celebrate the 20th anniversary of the club, so there’s no wonder that their task is to win the domestic league. Last season Suwon finished second. Still they’ve already won the title four times (1998, 1999, 2004 and 2008). In 2001 and 2002 they triumphed in the AFC Champions League.

The head coach of the team is famous Seo Jung-won, who took part in three World Cups. He used to feature for Suwon for five years.

It’s not hard to guess that the major sponsor of Dynamo next opponent is world famous Samsung Electronics. Development center of the company is located in Suwon, which is 30 km far from Seoul. The majority of employees support their club the home arena of which is called Suwon World Cup Stadium. It has capacity of 43 959. In 2002 this arena hosted four World Cup matches.

Speaking about Suwon players, special attention should be paid to Brazilian forward Santos Junior (pictured), who became the K League top striker last season with 14 goals to his name. One of the best midfielders is South Korea international Yeom Ki-hun. Key goalkeeper of the team is Jung Sung-ryong. There was a fabulous episode in his career as he scored from 85-meter distance featuring for South Korea youth team!

Suwon Samsung Bluewings have already played one sparring at the training camp in Spain. They’ve defeated Chinese side Guangzhou Evergrande – 2:0.
