Matchday 26 game of the National league U19 against Shakhtar Donetsk (4:1) was a special milestone for the goalkeeper of Dynamo Kyiv U19 Vyacheslav Surkis.
The 20-year-old keeper played his jubilee 100th match in the competition. This is already his fourth season in the National league U19. Surkis made his debut on August 24, 2022, while on loan at Zorya Luhansk, in a match against Vorskla Poltava (1:2). He played 19 matches for Zorya during the 2022/2023 season. After returning from loan ahead of the 2023/2024 season he has made 81 appearances for Dynamo.
Notably Surkis became the first player in the history of the National League U19 / Championship U19 to reach this impressive milestone.
His progress has not gone unnoticed by the first-team coaching staff. Goalkeeper regularly joins the senior squad’s training camps, participating in sessions and friendly matches. This season he also made his debut for Dynamo Kyiv in the Ukrainian Premier League, coming on as a substitute in a home match against Epitsentr (4:0).
