- Was it unexpected for you that you got the regular starting spot at once?
- I changed Spain for Ukraine to play football as in my previous team I didn’t have game practice. When I came to Dynamo, I felt coaches’ trust. Besides, Yevhen Khacheridi missed the second part of the season, so it was easier to get the regular starting spot.
- Joining Dynamo weren’t you worried that you wouldn’t have much game practice here?
- I wasn’t. I try to do my best in every game and at every training session. Anyway, it’s all up to coach.
- Even in winter it was quite clear that Dynamo wouldn’t win the domestic league, besides the team tumbled out of euro cups. Was it frustrating?
- Dynamo are ambitious team with demanding fans. We really wanted to defeat FC Shakhtar Donetsk at least in the national cup final, but unfortunately failed. We lost too many points in the domestic league while Shakhtar were more stable. Still next season things won’t be so easy for Shakhtar.
- Recently Dynamo adopted formation with three centre backs? How quickly did you get used to it?
- Adaptation wasn’t an issue though when we use such formation centre backs have more work. Still I’m in good physical conditions, so I don’t feel any discomfort.
- Were the first six months with Dynamo the most stable period in your career?
- Actually I’m dissatisfied only with the first half of the season. The rest was fine. I performed regularly for Cordoba and approved myself in Eibar.
- What goals do you have in Dynamo?
- I don’t set particular goals. Still I see how they treat Domagoj Vida here and I hope I’ll deserve the same attitude with my play.
