- First of all, on behalf of our club I’d like to express condolences to families of all deceased in Funchal. I hope that never happens again.
We’ve had enough time to recondition. Players had a day off. On Tuesday we started preparations for the forthcoming match. We’ve watched Maritimo previous Europa League home qualifier and two domestic league games.
- How difficult is it to motivate the team to perform in the Europa League after the Champions League?
- Everyone understands we don’t have a right to end up without euro cups. The team is motivated and focused on the game.
- Do you feel Dynamo are the much-fancied side?
- So far chances are 50/50. Our task is to reach the group stage and then we’ll see.
- Dynamo have poor statistics of matches against Portuguese clubs. What’s their strength?
- They have great supporters, so visitors experience serious pressure. Besides Portuguese teams have a lot of skillful performers.
- Is Vida having negotiations with another team? Do you count on his dedication?
- He’s discussed contract terms with another club. Still he’s a professional. He’s told me he’s ready to play.
- Isn’t Pivaric ready to take the field so far?
- He had his first training session with the team on Sunday. Last time he played 27 or 28 days ago. He’s admitted he’s not ready so far.
- Which outcome will be positive for you tomorrow?
- Any win will do.
- How does Khacheridi feel? Are Dynamo players ready for tough play? Maritimo foul a lot…
- Khacheridi is totally fine. I don’t think that Maritimo play roughly.
