Dynamo Kyiv midfielder Oleksandr Aliyev will undergo surgery on his troublesome groin next week. The player will feature in Friday's Persha Liga match against FC Illichivets (Mariupol) before having an operation.
Oleksandr has had groin problems for some time and was expected to have a surgery last summer. As he is sidelined for the UEFA Champions League match with Fenerbahçe (Turkey), Oleksandr decided he should take the opportunity to undergo the surgery for the groin complaint.
The 23-year-old midfield player will be operated in Belgium. If Oleksandr recovers well he could join his team partners at their winter training camp.
