Dynamo Kyiv midfield player Oleksandr Aliyev was voted Best Player in April, according to a poll of coaches, captains and football journalists conducted by daily sports newspaper Komanda.
The 24-year-old half-back collected 10 points and finished in front of FC Tavriya’s forward Oleksandr Kovpak and FC Dnipro’s striker Volodymyr Gomenyuk.
Aliyev’s team-partner Artem Milevskyy finished eighth with two points, while Stanislav Bogush was ranked ninth with one point.
