- Last year I had a talk with Dynamo president Ihor Surkis. With witness of head coach Serhiy Rebrov he told me he would develop infrastructure of training complexes of our club.
We’ve done a lot since then. We’ve completely reconstructed the turf at Dynamo Stadium named after Valeriy Lobanovskyi, two pitches at the training complex in Koncha-Zaspa and Dynamo football school field.
To provide maintenance of new pitches we needed modern equipment. Last time we purchased it 20 years ago. This time Ihor Surkis sent me to England again. We addressed to English-American company based in Ipswich.
It should be mentioned that new equipment has ten-year warranty. It takes Fareway machine 15-20 minutes to shave the lawn which is great considering we have eight training pitches in Koncha-Zaspa.
We’ve also got new machine that fertilizes turf. It has capacity of five cubic meters which makes it five times as effective as our old one was.
We’ve also purchased new Mastiff machines that shave the lawn, pick the grass and level the turf. Other purchases include new sod cutters and Mataway seeders.
