Having graduated from Dynamo football academy Bogdanov played for Arsenal Kyiv but in summer of 2008 he was signed by White and Blues.
Andriy made his debut for Dynamo on July 22, 2012 against Arsenal. In the first half of 2012/13 season he made 7 appearances in the Ukraine Premier League, played 1 match in Ukrainian Cup and 2 in euro cups. Being a player of Dynamo Bogdanov got his first call-up to Ukraine national team.
