- You’ve become the UPL best player according to Sport-Express for the second time in a row. Was the expiring year better than the previous one?
- Sure! The whole team has cheered up.
- What were the brightest memory and the most biter disappointment of the year?
- It’s difficult to point out one event. I remember every goal. On the other hand every defeat or draw makes me feel upset.
BLOKHIN AND REBROV
- Specialists and supporters see changes in your team. Is that all due to the new coach?
- I don’t think it’s only about the new head coach, but it’s also ridiculous to deny that this factor is important. Serhiy Rebrov has found common ground with every player, he talks to us a lot.
Finally we’ve become a sole team. Newcomers needed time for adaptation. This year we demonstrate better football.
- What is the main difference between Serhiy Rebrov and Oleh Blokhin?
- I used to work under the charge of Semin, Gazzaev, Kalytvyntsev, Lytovchenko, Luzhnyi… They all are good specialists. I’m thankful to every coach for experience.
GAZZAEV AND KVARTSIANYI
- Still Valery Gazzaev must be a special coach for you. He gave you the regular starting point despite criticism…
- Of course, I owe him. Unfortunately we haven’t met since he left Dynamo. He actually opened the way to big football for me.
- Vitaliy Kvartsianyi has told about your transfer from Desna to Dynamo in detail in his book. Have you read it?
- I have. I guess almost everything written in this book is true. Still I didn’t know about Kvartsianyi’s negotiations with presidents of clubs.
SHEVCHENKO AND MILEVSKYI
- Did you gain any special experience featuring alongside Andriy Shevchenko?
- I did. He’s taught young players a lot. We mostly tried to follow his advice.
- Artem Milevskyi was 2008 and 2009 best player according to Sport-Express. They often say that he’s the best example of how one shouldn’t act. What do you think about him?
- I don’t think I have a right to discuss his personal life. Speaking about his football qualities I can say that Artem is one of the best performers I’ve ever played with. He’s a very decent person and we keep in touch.
IVAN AND INNA
- After you scored against FC Metalurh Donetsk you traditionally kissed the tattoo with the name of your son and also conveyed greetings to someone of the stand. Who was that?
- My father and wife were there.
- Once you took your son to the pitch. Ivan is a year and a half already. Does he have a football gene?
- Well, he plays with the ball, but usually he prefers toy cars, fridge and everything that shines, like TV, phones… I hope that he’ll be interested in football.
SURKIS AND SANTA CLAUS
- Do you know what European teams are willing to sign you?
- Frankly speaking I’ve got some transfer offers, but those clubs aren’t willing to pay Dynamo compensation. I don’t think it’s right.
- Are clubs you dream to play for interested in you?
- They are, but I’d like to leave worthy, so that fans, president and me remained satisfied.
- The New Year is coming. What wish will you make?
- Usually I make non-football wishes. I want my family to be healthy. As for my profession, I’ll achieve success only if I keep working hard. Santa won’t understand me if I decide not to train, but ask him for four goals to my name in every game…
