Andriy YARMOLENKO: “What matters is that we’ve won”

- What emotions do you experience after Ukraine first game of the year? Did you like Odesa fans’ support?

- My emotions are positive. Still it wasn’t our best game. Anyway what matters is that we’ve won. Fans’ support was great!

- What did Cyprus lack not to lose?

- I think we should discuss only our play. In the first half we did better and after the break let Cyprus have a lot of counterattacks. They’ve proved they can play football. They could punish us for our mistakes.

- It seemed you lack mutual understanding with teammates…

- It was the first time I played alongside some of them. We have enough time to find strengths and weaknesses of each other. I think our team has good future.

- Did both teams play attacking football?

- We wanted to gladden fans. Both sides let their opponent create chances.

- Wales play different football. Will it be more difficult to oppose them?

- At first we’ll watch the match against Cyprus and analyze our mistakes. I think we’ll play better opposing Wales.
