Dynamo U19 midfielder Andrian Bekerskyi commented on the 3:0 victory over Rukh in the rescheduled Matchday 17 fixture of the U19 National League.
– Dynamo confidently beat Rukh today. What are your impressions of the match?
– The team prepared well for this match. The game turned out great and we achieved a positive result.
– This was a rescheduled match played on an unusual day — Monday. How much did you have to adjust your preparation? Did it affect your plans?
– I think it didn’t affect our plans at all. We just had to play with three days’ rest. Nothing more.
– Dynamo opened the scoring in the first half. After that the game seemed calmer and it looked like it wasn’t too difficult for the team. Was that really the case?
– I wouldn’t say it was easy - it was tough on the pitch. I believe the most important thing was to score first and then the game opened up. We didn’t allow opponent to create anything dangerous and everything worked out for us.
– What stands out about Rukh, in your opinion?
– They are aggressive on the ball and mostly play physical football. It’s a good team - they are third in the standings.
– Tell us about your goal. It looked very impressive - how did you manage that shot?
– We were breaking on a counterattack through a pass. I took the shot and a deflection helped the ball go in like that. The deflection changed the trajectory and worked in our favor.
– Was it a deliberate shot on goal or a cross?
– No, it was a shot. I aimed for the goal.
– What did head coach say to the team after the match?
– He was satisfied with the team’s performance and congratulated us on the win. He said we prepared exactly as we should have.
– How would you rate the team’s finishing in this match?
– The finishing was at a good level but we could have scored more.
– In a few days Dynamo will play away against Oleksandriya. Are you expecting a tough match?
– I believe every match is tough. In every game you have to give your maximum and work hard on the pitch.
– The fact that Oleksandriya are in the lower part of the table - will that affect the team?
– No, we approach every opponent the same way. There will be no underestimation.
