In the 11th-round match of the Ukrainian Premier League against Kryvbas Andriy Yarmolenko inscribed his name in golden letters in the history of Ukrainian football.
In the 43rd minute of the match Dynamo's winger converted a penalty, which became his 125th goal in Ukrainian Championship matches.
Thus Yarmolenko became the outright all-time top scorer in the history of the Ukrainian championship. The previous record belonged to another outstanding Dynamo player Maksym Shatskikh.
