FC Dynamo Kyiv winger Andrii Yarmolenko has commented upon the game against FC Chornomorets Odesa (1:1) which brought the White-Blues the league title.
- Congratulations on the title. What does it mean to you?
- It means a lot. Joy first of all. Firstly, I want to congratulate our supporters, our president, the whole team, players, staff. We worked hard the whole year and brought the title to Kyiv.
- How can you describe this title?
- For me personally, it was the most anticipated one. When you get older, you value this kind of moments much more. I’m very glad.
- Winning the title at 20 and at 35 – what’s the difference?
- The difference is huge. As I’ve said, as years go by, you start valuing things that happen to you way more.
- We’d like to wish you to prolong your career at least for a season.
- Thank you (smiling). I guess I’ll discuss that with the president after the game against Kolos.
- Did you plan to take the penalty or the coach told you to shoot?
- We settled that on the field. I took the responsibility. Thanks to the team for letting me shoot. Fortunately I didn’t let them down.
- Thank you, Andrii, now go and celebrate with the team.
- Thanks! Congrats on the title, Kyiv!
