Andriy Yarmolenko: “We should have handled our chances more calmly”

FC Dynamo Kyiv winger Andriy Yarmolenko has commented upon the draw against FC LNZ Cherkasy in the UPL matchday 23 game (1:1).

- Last time I told you I don’t care about personal records. Today we failed and didn’t do well, so I don’t feel positive.

- How does one deal with a team that uses three center backs and two supporting midfielders?

- It’s not easy, but we must be more inventive. It’s not the first time we face that. We just should have handled our chances more calmly.

- Was the conceded goal very upsetting?

- We shouldn’t have let opponents attack at all. But we conceded. This is football. We had 45 more minutes and we had to use our opportunities.

- This was your first starting lineup appearance after injury. How’re you feeling?

- As for my performance, I wish I did better. It was a really bad game for me.

- This was the third game of the week for Dynamo. Maybe you didn’t have enough time to recondition?

- We have a wide range of players, so I don’t think this is the issue. We were ready for the game. Probably the conceded goal was a tough blow. Still, as I’ve said, we had 45 more minutes.

- What does the return of Buialskyi mean to the team?

- Vitaliy is our captain, so that’s very important. But of course he needs time to recondition.
