Andriy Yarmolenko, the famous player, who featured for the White-Blues in 2006-2017, has returned to FC Dynamo Kyiv.
He’s signed two-year contract with the club.
Yarmolenko made his debut for Dynamo first team on May 11 2008 – in the game against FC Vorskla Poltava.
Gradually Yarmolenko turned into Dynamo true leader. He won three UPL titles, two Ukrainian Cups and three Super Cups.
Within almost ten years Yarmolenko made 341 appearances in different competitions (228 – UPL, 44 – Europa League, 36 – Champions League, 27 – Ukrainian Cup, 6 – Super Cup) and scored 137 goals (99 – UPL, 12 – EL, 7 – CL, 19 – UC).
Yarmolenko is all-time Ukraine national team leader in terms of appearances number with 115 caps to his name.
In August of 2017 Andriy was signed by Borussia Dortmund. In a year, he joined West Ham and spent 4 seasons with the English side. Afterwards Yarmolenko spent a season with UAE club Al Ain FC.
Andriy returns to Dynamo as free agent. He’s decided to play in the native country during the rough war times.
