The Matchday 25 clash of the Ukrainian Premier League between Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih and Dynamo Kyiv turned historic for Ukrainian football with several records set at Hirnyk Stadium in Kryvyi Rih.
A key figure in this was Dynamo winger Andriy Yarmolenko who scored a brace to surpass 120 goals in Ukrainian league matches and move very close to the all-time scoring record held by Maksim Shatskikh.
In addition Yarmolenko became Dynamo’s most prolific “super-sub” in domestic league history. He now has 13 goals for “White-Blues” after coming on as a substitute.
In the overall ranking of the most effective super-subs in the Ukrainian Premier League Yarmolenko is now tied for 4th place with Serhiy Rebrov, who scored 13 goals as a substitute, 12 of them for Dynamo.
