- I guess everyone will follow the drawing at home. As I’ve already said, I want to oppose really good teams as that will be very interesting. I only don’t want to face Barcelona as in such a case we’ll have to try to dispossess them throughout the whole match (smiling). Still they are also humans.
- You must be unwilling to face FC Astana considering that it will take you 8 hours to reach Kazakhstan?
- Frankly speaking I don’t ponder what opponents are acceptable for us. I’m just looking forward to the drawing. No matter what we’ll get ready for each game seriously. We’ve been waiting for the Champions League for a long period of time and we aren’t going to be whipping boys. We have our traditions and wemust defeat any team.
- There are a lot of rumors about your potential transfer. Can you clear things up?
- I guess I won’t leave the team as the transfer window will close soon. My contract will be valid for one more year and I’m going to work hard. We’ll see what happens in winter. I can only say that Everton FC were really interested in me.
- What about your motivation? You could have faced Chelsea FC in London on September 12, but instead you’ll oppose FC Oleksandria…
- When I put Dynamo shirt on it means a world to me! That’s why I can’t skip training sessions or boycott matches. I’m not that kind of person.
- Don’t you feel you’ve already got over Dynamo?
- I don’t. I try to do my best in every game and at every training session. I don’t revolve around my transfer. I play for the team I’ve been fond of since childhood.
- Dynamo will face FC Zoria Luhansk in the next UPL match. Will you watch their Europa League game?
- Sure! Matches against Zoria are usually difficult for us. Last season we played in a draw twice. That’s why we’ll get ready for the game properly.
- What can you tell about Dynamo newcomer Derlis Gonzalez?
- Of course he has some difficulties so far as he’s just joined the new team. Still he’s gaining confidence. He’s a good performer, who just needs some time for adaptation.
