FC Dynamo Kyiv 18-year-old halfback Anton Tsarenko has had medical examination with the first team players. He’s told about his expectations of preparations for the second part of the season.
- How was the examination?
- Well, we have same examination every year, so we’ve got used to it.
- Is everything okay with you?
- Yes. Ophthalmologist even said I have the best vision on the team.
- What do you expect of the winter training period?
- It’s great I’m working with the first team. What I demonstrate depends only upon me. I’m thankful to coaches. I hope things will be fine.
- Olexandr Shovkovskyi has joined the coaching staff. Is he one of your idols?
- Sure, he’s the legend of the club. I’m sure it will be great to work with him. I’m looking forward to that.
- You’ll be working in Kyiv for a week. Have coaches announced the training plan?
- Not yet, but I guess we’ll be mostly doing running exercises. We know this kind of work is necessary.
- Were you training individually during vacation?
- I didn’t work a lot before the New Year, but then I got to work to get fit.
- How did you spend your vacation?
- I was in Kyiv and visited family in Sumy region.
