He shared his impressions before the first training session:
- How did you find out you got your first call-up to Ukraine national team? Was it a surprise for you?
- When we came to Kyiv from Dnipro after recent game my father called me and told that. I was really happy.
- Do you have a chance to make your debut for Ukraine in forthcoming matches?
- I must work at every training session to prove I deserve taking the field. I’ll do my best for that.
- Have you already had personal talk with Andriy Shevchenko?
- I was really looking forward to that as he’s always been my idol. He’s a great person and specialist. It was my dream to work under the charge of Shevchenko.
- Did Shevchenko tell you and Tsyhankov anything special?
- We just got acquainted. Coach told what he expects from me. We must also follow some traditions. Newcomers sing songs, so we’re tying to choose one (smiling).
- Will it be easier for you to adapt to the national team considering that there are many Dynamo players here?
- Sure! I also played for Ukraine youth team with some of these guys. Anyway I guess adaptation will take some time.
