Artem Shabanov: “During the quarantine I stay at home and play Counter-Strike”

Malls, cafes, restaurants, theaters and cinemas are closed in Kyiv. Football has also been postponed. All competitions are stopped and training sessions are cancelled. FC Dynamo Kyiv players also have to stay at home and follow quarantine restrictions. Defender of our team Artem Shabanov has told what’s he’s busy with during this pause.

- During the quarantine I mostly play Counter-Strike. It’s a fun way to spend free time. We’ve all got individual training programs at the club. Besides we’ve been told to avoid crowded places when we do jogging. Personally I have a lake next to my house and I’ll do it there.

- Foreign trips are forbidden at the moment. What interesting places have you been to before?

- The trip to Bali was really impressive. I spent 10 days there with my girlfriend and friends, who used to feature for Dynamo.

We were on different excursions and beaches, but unfortunately didn’t see the famous Pura Lempuyang Luhur temple as it was too far away. There’re a lot of beautiful places in Bali. The nature is incredible there.

Souvenirs? I brought fridgies and coffee. It’s very expensive and delicious there. Still I didn’t taste it as I found out how it’s produced. Basically it’s a metabolic by-product of small animals that resemble lemurs.
