Bangoura named Ukraine’s best foreign player
Ismaël Bangoura of Dynamo Kyiv has been voted Ukraine’s best non-home grown player in the year of 2007. The poll was carried out by the Ukrainian Football.
With 292 points, the Guinean international striker came out ahead of two Shakhtar’s footballers, Brazilian Fernandinho (162 points) and Croatian Darijo Srna (150 points).
The goalkeeper winner of the previous three years Dynamo's Olksandr Shavkovskyy this time around conceded to Andriy Pyatov of Shakhtar Donetsk.
