Benjamin Verbic: “It’s good we’ll face AZ in Kyiv”

- Benjamin, you look exhausted. What do you think of the training process of the new coach?

- Training sessions are hard as I’d been recovering for a month. We work on possession. Other guys, who were injured, and I need this, so the international break is beneficial for us.

- How do you feel?
- I’m okay. Of course there’re some issues, but everything will be fine soon.

- Will you be able to perform against AZ?

- I’m not sure as I’m not a coach. He picks the lineup. I’ll be coming back step by step.

- What do you think of the Champions League third qualifying round drawing?

- All potential opponents were tough as this is the Champions League. We need to demonstrate our best qualities. Coach will prepare us. As you saw in the game against Shakhtar, we have discipline.

AZ Alkmaar are really good team. It’s good we’ll face them in Kyiv. I think the game will be interesting.

- Has the atmosphere in the team changed now that you’ve got new coach?

- Of course it has. We’ve won two games out of two under the charge of new coach. We do the best we can. Everyone wants to play.
