Bezus is ready to play as goalkeeper, Vukojevic likes borshch and Vida could become a waiter

Roman Bezus, Ognjen Vukojevic and Domagoj Vida met fans and answered their questions.

Ognjen Vukojevic: - I’m glad to see all of you. I hope you’ll attend our game against FC Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk this Sunday. It was difficult to find motivation for the match against FC Aktobe as we played behind closed doors. Fortunately we managed to win.

Here are the most interesting questions fans asked players:

- Roman, who do you keep terms with in everyday life?

- I communicate with all teammates. Sometimes we can have dinner with Yarmolenko family.

Our wives communicate with each other. I also keep terms with Maxym Koval.

- Ognjen, do you miss the Champions League?

- I think Dynamo must participate in the Champions League every year. I hope that next season we’ll qualify for this competition.

- Do you really get the new kit before every game? And what do you do with used kit?

Roman Bezus: - Yes, that’s true. Sometimes we even have spare kit is the weather is rainy. But every player buys boots himself. As for the used kit we can keep it as a memento or exchange it with opponents.

- Why don’t players come up to fans to thank them for support after the final whistle?

R.B.: - After the game against FC Chornomorets Odesa we met Ultras and they asked this question. Now we try to thank fans for support all the time.

- What place do you lot upon in the UPL this season?

R.B. – This season we have already lost many points, but we’ll struggle till the end and demonstrate good play.

 - What is your attitude to pyro at the stadium?

O.V.: -UEFA can fine the club or even disqualify the stadium, so it’s better not to use pyro during international games. Your attention, support and songs are enough for us.

- What does the call-up to the national team mean to you?

R.B.: - It’s a great honor. When I was a kid my dream was to play for the national team. When you play for your country you do your best on the pitch. These are incredible emotions.

- Ognjen, did you miss Dynamo when you played on loan for FC Spartak Moscow?

- Of course I did. I watched all Dynamo games. I felt sorry for the team when Kyivans finished third in the UPL last season. I hope that won’t happen again.

- These day Dynamo and Dnipro played within the Europa League? How will it influence your face-to-face match?

R.B.: - We’ll see. Sometimes it’s even good to play twice a week. Now the head coach can reshuffle the squad.

- Do you follow some superstitious traditions before games?

R.B.: - Personally I’m not superstitious.

Domagoj Vida: - I am adherent, so before every game I cross myself and pray for the health of my teammates.

 - Roman, what do you feel when you score for the national team?

- It’s a special feeling, which is difficult to describe.

 - Ognjen, do you still keep terms with Milos Ninkovic?

- Sure, I do. He cares about Dynamo. Next week Croatia national team will face Serbia, so I’ll meet him.

- Roman, do you communicate with Denys Harmash? How does he feel?

- He is recovering. Denys comes to the training complex, but I don’t meet him often. We really miss him.

- Roman, what teams did you play for being a kid? Did you score a lot?

- I played for FC Kremin Kremenchuh. Sometimes I scored a lot and sometimes not really.

- Can you play as goalkeeper if necessary?

R.B.: - I’m ready! I had such experience playing for FC Vorskla Poltava.

- Roman, how often do you go to Kremenchuh?

- I always miss my hometown. Last time I was there when we had summer vacation. I think next time I’ll go there in winter.

- Do you want your children to become football players?

R.B.: - I want my son to achieve even greater success in football. I’ll try to help him.

D.V.: - Of course I want my son to go in for sports. My father also was a sportsman. He often took us to the stadium.

- How do you spend your free time?

D.V.: - I sit at the balcony and watch Ukrainian women (laughter).

- Do you attend Dynamo U-21 games?

R.B.: Unfortunately we don’t because of our schedule.

- Domagoj, which game in your career was the most memorable one?

- It was Euro-2012 game against Spain.

- Who is the main merry fellow in your team?

O.V.: - Yevhen Khacheridi (laughter).

D.V.: I’ll be the main merry fellow when I master Russian.

- What is your favorite Ukrainian dish?

D.V.: - Me and Ognjen like Ukrainian borshch.

R.B.: - I also like Ukrainian cuisine, but sometimes I can eat sushi. I adore what my wife cooks.

- Which foreign team do you support?

R.B.: - I like AS Roma.

O.V.: - And I like Real Madrid.

D.V.: I support Barcelona.  

- What would your profession be but for football?

D.V.: - I would have become a waiter (laughter). I like to communicate with people.
