Bohdan Redushko: «We cannot afford to drop points because we are behind leaders»

Midfielder of Dynamo Kyiv Bohdan Redushko commented on the 2:1 victory over FC Obolon Kyiv in the 20th round of the Ukrainian Premier League.

– What are your feelings after the match?

- Good feelings because the most important thing is victory. It was not an easy game I would say. The most important thing is that we won.

– The score was 2:1 but it seemed the game was quite easy considering the number of chances Dynamo created. What was it actually like?

- I wouldn’t say the game was easy. We conceded a goal but after the winter break we have shown a certain character during matches - we don’t get upset, on the contrary we switch on even more and try to score more during the game. Today we managed to score only two goals but we could have scored more.

– In the match against Polissya Dynamo conceded first but immediately equalized. Today the story repeated itself - you conceded and quickly made it 1:1. How does that work?

- As I said we have a fighting character. We cannot stop because we simply cannot afford to lose points as we are behind leaders. That’s why we always play for victory.

– After the match you spent several minutes giving autographs and taking photos with fans. Tell us about the supporters’ love.

- I don’t know if they love me (smiles). But it’s nice to receive such attention. Why not come over and meet them especially after we’ve won.

– Interestingly you even signed a five-hryvnia banknote. Is that the most unusual thing you’ve signed so far?

- So far yes - that’s the most interesting one (smiles).
