Brazilians give way to Ukrainians

Out of the five Brazilians on the club's roster, only Carlos Corrêa may appear on the pitch this year. After picking up an injury in the match vs. Arsenal Kyiv, the South American missed Dynamo’s two recent games vs. Roma and Chornomorets and there is an element of doubt he may be fully fit for the encounters left to play.

His compatriots Rodrigo, Kléber, Diogo Rincón and Michael are all sidelined with injuries and have gone to Brazil. The first two are now receiving rehabilitation treatment in Santos football club.

To be able to complete the 18-men squad, acting head coach Oleh Luzhnyy is going to deploy four reserves footballers: defender Artem Butenin, half-back Denys Harmash and strikers Artem Kravets and Roman Zozulya. With their teammates now on vacation after this year’s Div2 last game, the four youngsters are going to face an extended season.
