In the second round of the Ukrainian U19 Championship Dynamo Kyiv secured a hard-fought 2:1 away victory over Rukh at the Bohdan Markevych Stadium in Vynnyky.
Despite Dynamo’s early dominance and numerous chances, it was Rukh who opened the scoring in the 15th minute through Dmytro Sebro. Dynamo continued to press and finally equalized in the 77th minute when Kyrylo Osypenko converted a penalty after a foul on Volodymyr Ozymay.
The winning goal came in the 86th minute, when Volodymyr Ozymay scored with a precise shot from outside the box following a second-phase attack after a corner. Rukh had a late chance to equalize in stoppage time but missed the target.
Dynamo claimed a comeback win against a tough opponent, showing resilience and attacking persistence.
