- You’ll start the season as twofold champion of Ukraine. Which of two titles is more memorable and valuable?
- I can’t pick one. Each season is a long distance and it’s very honorary to win the league for every coach. Players have deserved that.
- In what mood will you start football year?
- In ordinary mood. It’s more difficult to hold titles. This season our league format will be different, so we must get used to it. Fans and players are looking forward for the league start.
- There are a lot of rumors concerning Andriy Yarmolenko. Has he discussed his future with you?
- President of the club and Andriy Yarmolenko are dealing with that. If Andriy is ready to perform in our league and be motivated I’ll be glad.
- A lot of Dynamo players took part in the Euro-2016. Internationals must be in bad mood after that. How can this influence the start of the season?
- We’ll see. I guess internationals were upset, but now they must move on. Coaching staff and players must analyze what happened. It’s a new day and we must look for new motivation.
- You started the training camp without several leaders. Has anyone proved he can play key role?
- I don’t like to focus on particular players. Youngsters and those, who didn’t feature for their national teams, worked to prove they want to perform for Dynamo.
- 2016/17 season will start with the Ukrainian Super Cup. Shakhtar and Odesa again... What’s your attitude to this game?
- It’s a feast for fans and exhibition match. It will demonstrate whether both sides are ready for the season.
- Last time Dynamo won the Super Cup in 2011. Do you want to break this streak?
- We lost two previous Super Cups, but won the domestic league twice. I’m sure players will take the field with great motivation to defeat Shakhtar.
