Four Dynamo players help Ukraine flatten Armenia in the Nations League

On September 24, Ukraine national team faced Armenia away in the Nations League group stage matchday 5 game.

This time four FC Dynamo Kyiv representatives were in visitors’ starting lineup – defenders Illia Zabarnyi (23rd cap), Olexandr Tymchyk (11th cap), halfbacks Serhiy Sydorchuk (54th cap) and Viktor Tsyhankov (42nd cap).

22 minutes into the game Ukraine opened the score. Zubkov crossed into the six-yard box and Tymchyk hit the target. That is his first goal for the national team.

Armenia had a chance to equalize early in the second half, but failed while the Yellow-Blues increased their lead. Tymchyk assisted Zubkov this time.

Later two goals by Dovbyk and a goal by Ihnatenko made it 5:0 for Ukraine. On September 27, Olexandr Petrakov’s men need to succeed against Scotland to qualify for the League A.
