Dynamo U19 defender Danylo Ohorodnyk shared his impressions after the 5:3 friendly victory over Danish side Hvidovre IF U19:
– We managed to score a lot but we didn’t keep a clean sheet. There were some mistakes on our part, at times we lost duels. We’ll analyze this game to make sure we don’t concede so many goals because of our own errors. We scored five goals, all guys did great, followed the coach’s instructions and won the match.
– At one point the score was 4:3. Did you think that after another mistake it could become 4:4? Was there any nervousness?
– Maybe there was a bit of tension but we understood that we were the stronger team. We tried not to make mistakes near our own goal, to play simpler, find our moment in attack and score. That’s exactly what happened.
– How would you assess this training camp? How has the team changed over the past month?
– I think we’ve definitely become stronger because we worked a lot, ran a lot, did plenty of tactical training and played many matches. We also had a game in the UEFA Youth League which unfortunately didn’t go well for us. But we gained valuable experience and are now focusing on the championship. We need to collect points because we are four points behind leaders. We’ll do everything we can to become champions in the second half of the season.
