- Danilo, Dynamo family congratulates you! How did you celebrate your birthday and what presents have you got?
- Thank you for congratulations! I’ve already got used to celebrating far from family. Actually I couldn’t organize any festivities as we are to play several more important games by winter break. As for presents, I got a shirt from teammates and some clothes from my wife.
- Which birthday was the most memorable for you and why?
- I guess the last one as I picked up an injury (smiling).
- Do you feel trust of the head coach and teammates? Having spent only four years in Kyiv you earned the right to be the White-Blues skipper…
- I was Dynamo skipper only twice, but that’s great honour for me. That means that head coach and teammates really trust me.
- Is 27 years a kind of age when defenders start demonstrating better play?
- It’s mature age for a defender as he has some experience behind his belt. It gives confidence.
- What do you want to achieve in the nearest future?
- I want to win as many trophies with Dynamo as possible. Anyway I have already reached some success. Looking ahead in the long term, I think I’ll have a chance to come into my own after the end of my career.
P.S. Unfortunately Danilo Silva suffered injury in Kyivans home match against FC Hoverla Uzhhorod. Thus he won’t be able to take the field against KRC Genk. The White-Blues defender is under treatment in Kyiv.
