Dynamo Kyiv will be without Senegalese defender Pape Diakhaté for the remainder of the season. Last week the 24-year-old successfully underwent surgery on his knee injury in Belgium and returned to Kyiv. The full-back has already begun a rehabilitation programme, but according to Dynamo’s club doctor Volodymyr Malyuta, Diakhaté will be out for a minimum of five-six months.
That means the Senegalese won’t be able to help his team-partners in Dynamo's current Premier League and UEFA Cup campaigns.
