Dynamo players hold their first training session under Ihor Kostyuk

Late on Thursday, November 25, after the away UEFA Conference League main-stage match against Omonia (2:0) Ihor Kostyuk was appointed as Dynamo’s acting head coach.

And today, after “white-and-blues” returned to Kyiv, Dynamo president Ihor Surkis held a meeting at the club’s training base in Vita-Litovska during which he introduced to players their new manager and his coaching staff.

Following the meeting team held a training session. Despite the long trip back from Cyprus the session was a full one as there is no time to ease into the work. The players began in the gym, bringing their muscles into working condition to avoid unwanted injuries later and then moved on to exercises on the pitch where they spent more time working with the ball.

A positive and focused atmosphere prevailed throughout the training. Dynamo players received instructions and learned more about the expectations of Ihor Kostyuk and his assistants.

Dynamo will play their first official match under Ihor Kostyuk against Poltava in Round 14 of the Ukrainian Premier League. The match will take place on Monday, December 1, in Kyiv at the Valeriy Lobanovskyi Club Stadium with kickoff at 15:30.
