Dynamo meet Ukrainian children in Bucharest

FC Dynamo Kyiv keep getting ready for the second leg against Besiktas JK in Bucharest.

Romania greeted Mircea Lucescu’s men really warmly. Throughout a few weeks Kyivans were practicing at the training grounds of Rapid, Dinamo Bucharest and Voluntari.

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Romania has also become a refuge for many Ukrainians, including children. In the first game against Besiktas, many young fans gathered in the stands, who, together with their parents, actively supported Dynamo.

On Monday our club arranged a meeting with players for Ukrainian children living in Bucharest.

The players, who participated in the event, were Olexandr Karavayev, Denys Popov, Olexandr Andriyevskyi, Nazar Voloshyn and Anton Tsarenko.

Over three hundred kids attended. Each of them got autographs and took photos.

Children brought their own patriotic paintings to support the team and particular players.

Among the guests there were kids doing football, including the Viking youth school trainees from Kherson region, who were excited to meet their countryman Olexandr Karavayev.

Everyone thanked players for dedication and character they demonstrated in the first game against Besiktas. And although Kyivans are currently behind in this tie, everyone believes Dynamo can get through to the next stage.
