Dynamo players on loan. 2013/2014 season

Before the start of the second part of the season some of them returned to Kyiv (Vladyslav Kalytvyntsev, Artem Kravets) and some left the White-Blues (Olexiy Shevchenko, Ayila Yussuf, Benoit Tremoulinas, Dudu). Andres Escobar moved to the USA and Admir Mehmedi was eventually signed by SC Freiburg.

Now we’d like to focus on those Dynamo performers, who played on loan during the second part of 2013/2014 season.

Denys BOIKO (FC Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk)

Dynamo keeper was one of the key performers of the team which struggled for Premiership. Though Dnipro failed to win the title they finished second and qualified for the UEFA Champions League. Denys Boiko’s confident play helped them a lot. 

Olexiy SHEVCHENKO (FC Hoverla Uzhhorod)

Considering the fierce competing among Dynamo keepers Shevchenko joined Uzhhorod side. Still he wasn’t Hoverla first team regular and made only one appearance for the main squad.

Serhiy LIULKA (FC Hoverla Uzhhorod)

Serhiy Liulka approved himself in Hoverla and became one of the key players of the team. Today the right back has a chance to struggle for the starting spot in Dynamo.

Benoit TREMOULINAS (AS Saint-Etienne)

Benoit Tremoulinas is in his element in the Ligue 1. He became AS Saint-Etienne first team regular at once and missed only one fixture due to suspension. 

Goran POPOV (West Bromwich Albion FC)

Another season in England was a failure for Goran Popov. He made only two appearances in the Premier League. After the winter break he didn’t take the field a single time.

Vitaliy BUIALSKYI (FC Hoverla Uzhhorod)

Vitaliy Buialskyi was among Hoverla key players just liker Serhiy Liulka. Uzhhorod side head coach Viacheslav Hrozniy stated that he wants Vitaliy to keep performing for Hoverla.

Ayila YUSSUF (FC Metalist Kharkiv)

Yussuf helped Metalist a lot after the winter break as the team had a lack of defenders. The Nigerian back even scored against FC Dynamo Kyiv within the Ukrainian Cup.

Serhiy RYBALKA (FC Slovan Liberec)

Serhiy Rybalka had a good season in CzechRepublic and gained important experience featuring in the Europa League with FC Slovan Liberec. He scored some very important goals. Thus FC Dynamo Kyiv head coach Serhiy Rebrov stated that he counts on Rybalka.

Niko KRANJCAR (Queens Park Rangers FC)

Niko Kranjcar was one of the QPR best performers of the season and helped the team to qualify for the Premier League.

Facundo BERTOGLIO (Evian TG)

The Argentinean attacking midfielder didn’t manage to become Evian first team regular. He made only several substitute appearances.

Andres ESCOBAR (Evian TG, FC Dallas)

Andres Escobar also didn’t succeed in Evian and in winter he joined the MLS side FC Dallas. Still he has little game practice there too.

Marco RUBEN (Evian TG)

Marco Ruben was among Evian first eleven rather often after the winter break. Still he netted only one goal.

DUDU (Gremio)

Dudu, who came to Dynamo training camp too late, went on loan move to Brazil. In Gremio he became one of the key performers at once. He netted three goals in the Campeonato Gaucho.

Admir MEHMEDI (SC Freiburg)

It seems that Mehmedi has found the proper team and coach. Admir got several individual awards this season. He hit the target 12 times and got four assists to his name. Eventually SC Freiburg signed him.
