On January 12, FC Dynamo Kyiv first team started getting ready for the second part of the season by gathering at the training ground of the club in Vita-Lytovska.
On Thursday, the team had two sessions. In the morning, the group that didn’t have medical examination did scamper and worked out at the gym while in the afternoon both groups were mostly practicing on the artificial field due to cold weather. On Friday, the White-Blues are going to work the same way. On Saturday, Kyivans will have two sessions too, while on Sunday – one.
So far Dynamo head coach Mircea Lucescu manages the training process remotely. He’ll join the team on January 20 in Turkey.
As you know, Dynamo legendary goalkeeper Olexandr Shovkovskyi has rejoined the club as assistant coach.
A number of youngsters, who featured for the youth team last season, are currently working with the main squad. Besides, as we’ve informed, halfback Nazar Voloshyn has returned after loan move at FC Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih.
As usually, first sessions after vacation are of reconditioning kind. That’s what players need to get ready for the training camp.
29 performers took part in the session – four goalkeepers and 25 outfield players. After some jogging, they had intense warm-up outside. Later they worked with the ball on artificial field to practice possession, passing etc.
As you know, on January 20, Dynamo are going to leave for Turkey to have the training camp. First friendlies opponents are already known.
