Dynamo U11 are the winners of the international Leyendas del Futuro Barcelona tournament!

The U11 team of Dynamo Kyiv (players born in 2015), led by coaches Ihor Tyahlo and Oleksandr Stuzhuk, became the winners of the prestigious international tournament Leyendas del Futuro Barcelona which took place on May 23–25 in the Spanish city of Santa Perpètua de Mogoda near Barcelona.

The competition was organized by AFA Internacional in cooperation with UCF Santa Perpètua. The tournament was held among teams in two age categories — U10 (players born in 2016) and U11 (players born in 2015). Each age group featured 32 teams from different countries.

The competition was played in a 7-a-side format, with matches consisting of two 15-minute halves. Participants were divided into eight groups of four teams, and the best sides advanced to the playoff stage, which began from the Round of 16.

During the group stage, the young Dynamo players confidently went through the distance and earned three victories in their group. “White-Blues” defeated ACR Football, S.Andrews, and CF Mollet, finishing first in the group and advancing to the final round.

The culmination of the tournament was the final match against Italy’s SS Lazio. The match turned out to be extremely tense and ended in a fighting 1:1 draw in regular time. The fate of the trophy was decided in a penalty shootout, where the young Kyiv players demonstrated character and composure, winning 4:2.

Thus Dynamo U11 became the winners of the international tournament and brought the prestigious trophy back to Kyiv.

It is worth noting that Leyendas del Futuro Barcelona is one of the prestigious international youth tournaments that serves as an important platform for talent scouting. The competition brings together leading football academies and professional scouts in a vibrant Mediterranean football hub, giving young players the opportunity to showcase their abilities on the international stage.
